Also known as Anastrozole and Liquidex, Arimidex is an antiestrogen that is used by sportsmen on harsh and aromatizable steroids to control or prevent estrogenic side effects such as oily skin or gynecomastia. Medically, Arimidex is routinely prescribed by medical practitioners for the treatment of postmenopausal women patients with hormone receptor-positive early breast cancer. Belonging to the category of 3rd generation selective oral aromatase inhibitors, Arimidex is also used to restore or improve the production of naturally occurring testosterone (the male sex hormone). It is worth noting here that the level of natural testosterone production is disrupted when aromatizable or harsh steroids are used during a steroid cycle.
